Maintenance of 1 Piece Ball Valve

1. 1 Piece Ball Valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and both ends of the passage must be blocked.
2. 1 Piece Ball Valve stored for a long time should be checked regularly, dirt should be removed, and anti-rust oil should be applied to the processed surface.
3. After installation, it should be checked regularly, and the main inspection items are:
(1) The wear condition of the sealing surface.
(2) The wear condition of the trapezoidal thread of the valve stem and the valve stem nut.
(3) Whether the packing is expired and invalid. If damaged, it should be replaced in time.
(4) After the 1 Piece Ball Valve maintenance installation, the sealing function test should be carried out.
In the running 1 Piece Ball Valve, all valve parts should be complete and intact. The bolts on the flange and the bracket must not be missing, the threads should be intact, and no loosening is allowed. If the handwheel fastening nut is found loose, tighten it immediately to prevent wear at the joints or loss of the handwheel and nameplate. If a handwheel is lost, do not use an adjustable wrench to replace it; it must be replaced promptly. The packing gland must not be tilted or have insufficient preload clearance. For valves exposed to rain, snow, dust, wind, and other contaminants, the valve stem must be equipped with a protective cover. The scale on the valve stem must be intact, accurate, and clear. The lead seals, caps, and pneumatic accessories of the valve stem must be intact. The insulation jacket must be free of dents and cracks.
It is forbidden to hit, stand, or support heavy objects on a running valve, especially non-metallic valves and cast iron valves.
