With the continuous development of the national economy, the demand for high-efficiency,1 Piece Threaded Ball Valve in industries such as hydropower and petrochemicals is increasing, and the performance requirements for these valves are also becoming increasingly stringent. For many years, the structural optimization of stainless steel ball valves relied solely on engineering experience. Due to the complex structure of stainless steel ball valves, stress concentration and uneven deformation can occur, resulting in reduced service life and leakage.

The main research contents of stainless steel ball valves are as follows:

1. A finite element analysis model of the stainless steel ball valve body structure was established to analyze the strength and deformation of the valve and body structure. The magnitude and distribution of the equivalent stresses on the valve and body were determined, and the structural weaknesses were identified.

2. Using the mass and stiffness of the stainless steel ball valve body as constraints, the maximum stress and maximum displacement as objective functions, and the basic dimensions of the stainless steel ball valve body as design variables, a sensitivity analysis and Pareto multi-objective optimization method were used to determine the optimal size and location of the reinforcement rib structure. This improved the overall stress distribution of the ball valve, making it more uniform and enhancing the overall structural safety and economic efficiency of the ball valve.

3. A reliability analysis was conducted on the structure of the improved stainless steel ball valve body to obtain reliability parameters such as life, damage, and safety factor. The parts prone to fatigue failure were found, and the safety of large-diameter ball valves was evaluated. The results showed that the improved valve and valve body are safe and reliable under working pressure and meet the design requirements.
