Product Features From The Pros And Cons Of 3-way Ball Valve
Advantages of 3 Way Ball Valve:
1. Fluorine-lined ball valves are specially designed to control the opening and closing of various highly corrosive media. They are widely used in the petroleum, chemical, dye, pesticide, and acid and alkali production industries, making them the ideal choice for corrosion-resistant valves.
2. Low fluid resistance: The smooth inner wall of the lined ball valve ensures unobstructed flow, making it the valve with the lowest fluid resistance of all valve types. A ball with a circular through-hole serves as the opening and closing element, rotating with the valve stem around the centerline of the valve body to open and close the valve.
3. A variety of drive mechanisms, including pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic, can be configured, enabling remote control and automated operation.
4. The combination of the lined ball and PTFE seat ensures excellent sealing, achieving zero leakage. A special molding process creates a dense and precise sealing surface, and the V-shaped PTFE packing ensures zero leakage. The ball and stem are integrally cast, eliminating the possibility of the stem extruding from the pressure-bearing component due to pressure fluctuations, ensuring safety during use based on imported gas pressure reducing valves. The all-plastic lining provides resistance to aggressive media.
Disadvantages of pneumatic fluorine-lined ball valves:
1. Poor sealing
2. Inability to withstand high vacuum conditions
3. Severe temperature limitations, generally limited to 180°C. Higher reactor temperatures may result in swelling.
Pneumatic fluorine-lined ball valves also have their drawbacks. Taking appropriate precautions against these drawbacks does not overshadow their advantages.
