3-way Ball Valve's Multi-mode Features

Date:

The 3 Way Ball Valve valve consists of a ball valve and a pneumatic actuator (GT/AT/AW series). The pneumatic actuator is available in double-acting and single-acting types. It is controlled by a solenoid valve to open and close the ball valve. The pneumatic ball valve enables intelligent control, quickly opening and closing pipelines, and effectively controlling and managing pipeline networks.

Main Features of the 3 Way Ball Valve:
1. Low fluid resistance. Pneumatic ball valves offer the lowest fluid resistance of all valve types, even with reduced-bore pneumatic ball valves.
2. The thrust bearing reduces valve stem friction, ensuring smooth and flexible operation.
3. Excellent valve seat sealing performance. The sealing ring, made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene, provides an easy-to-seal structure. Furthermore, the sealing capacity of the pneumatic ball valve increases with increasing media pressure.
4. Reliable valve stem sealing. Since the valve stem only moves in a rotating motion, not a lifting motion, the stem packing seal is less susceptible to damage, and the sealing capacity increases with increasing media pressure. 5. Because materials like polytetrafluoroethylene have excellent self-lubricating properties and minimize frictional losses with the ball, pneumatic ball valves have a long service life.
6. The bottom-mounted valve stem and the raised step on the stem head prevent the stem from being ejected. If a fire damages the stem seal, the raised step creates metal-to-metal contact with the valve body, ensuring a tight seal.
7. Anti-static function: Springs are installed between the ball, stem, and valve body to dissipate static electricity generated during the opening and closing process.
