Construction and Installation Key Points

1) The installation position, height, and inlet and outlet directions must comply with design requirements, and connections must be secure and tight.

2) The handles of all manual valves installed on insulated pipes must not be facing downward.

3) Before installing the valve, a visual inspection must be conducted, and the valve nameplate must comply with the current national standard "General Valve Marking" (GB 12220). Valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and valves serving as shut-off valves on main pipelines must undergo strength and tightness performance tests before installation and are permitted for use only after passing the tests. During the strength test, the test pressure must be 1.5 times the nominal pressure for a duration of at least 5 minutes. The valve body and packing must show no leakage for acceptance. During the tightness test, the test pressure must be 1.1 times the nominal pressure for a duration that meets the requirements of GB 50243. Acceptance is determined by the absence of leakage on the disc sealing surface.

4) Install a gasket between the valve flange and the pipeline flange according to the pipeline design requirements.

5) For ball valves with a transmission mechanism, install them according to the product manual.

Ball valves feature a metal-to-metal sealing pair (i.e., the valve seat and ball sealing surfaces). Ball valves are available in floating and fixed ball configurations, with flange, welded, and threaded connections.

3 Piece Ball Valve consists of a ball, seat, and body. The seat is metallic, and a sealing ring, pressure ring, and disc spring are positioned between the seat and body. This product significantly expands the range of applications for ball valves, allowing them to be used in high-temperature, high-pressure environments, or where the media contains particulate matter.
