How To Improve The Efficiency Of 3-way Threaded Ball Valve?
Understanding and utilizing the characteristics of a 3 Way Threaded Ball Valve significantly improves efficiency.
The surface of the manually operated cast steel hard-seal ball valve body utilizes advanced spray coating technology, resulting in a hardness of up to HRC 78, achieved through treatment for various operating conditions. The seat sealing surface is also treated to a hardness of up to HRC 72. The ball and seat are ground to a precise finish, and all sealing areas of the entire ball valve sealing surface are precision-ground. This valve is suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure applications involving water, steam, oil, coal, fiber, viscous and corrosive media, and media containing particles.
Metal-seal ball valves are available in floating and fixed ball configurations. A metal seat ring contacts the ball surface, and a uniform spring load acts on the seat ring to create a seal.
The spring load causes the auxiliary seal to expand, creating a seal between the valve body and seat. The spring load is sufficient to provide a reliable seal between the seat and ball. Under low-pressure conditions, a sealing grease injection system can be designed between the seat sealing surface and the ball.
