3-way Flanged Ball Valve With Equal Percentage Flow Rate Regulation Characteristics
Research on 3 Way Flanged Ball Valve with equal-percentage flow control characteristics available on the market has uncovered numerous numerical simulations of three-dimensional turbulent flows under various valve core openings using these valve models. These simulations employed turbulence models and the SIMPLE computational method on unstructured grids to perform numerical calculations on the designed regulating ball valve models at various valve core openings.
A stainless steel ball valve performance test rig was also designed and constructed. Experimental studies were conducted on the resulting stainless steel ball valve models, revealing the relationship between the valve's experimental nominal flow coefficient (K_(VS)) and the experimental relative opening (θ). Furthermore, to compare the flow characteristics of the stainless steel ball valve with those of currently available regulating ball valves, two electric regulating ball valves of the same diameter from a well-known imported brand were tested.
